Clients accustomed to deep tissue massage may be surprised by how light the pressure feels at first.

Your therapist will discuss the reason for your treatment and relevant health history before determining whether MLD is appropriate.

Is MLD Suitable for Everyone?

No.

In some situations, manual lymphatic drainage may not be appropriate, or you may need medical clearance.

For this reason, tell your therapist about relevant medical conditions, recent surgery, infections, and changes in your health.
